Authentified is a digital consignment service. You list your pre-loved items in just a few photos, and our team takes it from there — generating the listing, pricing it, surfacing it on marketplaces such as eBay and Depop, handling buyer enquiries, and arranging shipping once it sells.
Where we have a direct connection with the original retailer or brand, we draw on their product data and imagery to make listings faster and more accurate. Either way, our Consignment
Associates review every item before it goes live.

Authentified takes a 13.5% commission on the total order value of each item, including shipping.
There are no other fees or hidden charges.
We invest in marketing and promotion to help your item sell faster, at no extra cost to you.

• Buyer paid shipping: $10.00
• Total order value: $100.00
• Authentified receives: $13.50

When you register with Authentified, you add your BSB and account number to your account.
Once your item is scanned by Australia Post, we’re notified within an hour or two and your payout is scheduled.
For sales over $750, we hold the payout until the earlier of (a) the buyer confirming they have received the item and are happy with it, or (b) the end of the 30-day “item not as described”
window offered by the marketplace. This protects both buyer and seller in the rare event of a dispute on a higher-value sale, and is consistent with how the marketplaces themselves manage these transactions.
For payouts up to $100, you can also choose an upsized payout in the form of a DECJUBA gift card.

No. The buyer pays for postage at checkout, and we’ll email you a pre-paid Australia Post shipping label once your item sells. All you need to do is package the item securely and drop it in the post.
For higher-value items, we’ll arrange Express Post with signature on delivery and transit insurance — at no cost to you.

No — while your item is listed with us, it can’t be listed anywhere else, including eBay, Depop or Facebook Marketplace, whether under your own account or someone else’s.
The reason is simple: if an item sells in two places at once, one of those buyers misses out, which damages the trust we’ve built with our buyer community and reflects poorly on you as a seller.
Concurrent listing is a breach of our seller agreement. If it happens, we may decline to act as your agent on future listings.

Yes, our pricing engine will give you a suggested starting price and minimum price.
Our algorithm is based off sales history of the same or similar items, as well as signals from marketplaces and online stores.
From there you will be able to adjust the starting and minimum price to suit whether your want a fast sale, or you want the highest possible value.

Your starting price is where the item is first listed. Your minimum price is the floor — we won’t drop below it without your say-so.
Across the first 30-day listing period, we’ll adjust pricing within that range to give your item the best chance of selling. That can include weekly price reductions, or featuring your item in marketplace sale events and promotions where it makes sense.
At the end of 30 days, we’ll check in with you on next steps — keep it listed, drop the price further, donate or delist.

Despite our best efforts, not everything sells.
How long you keep an item listed for is completely up to you, but if you just need the item out of your wardrobe, we have partnered with Salvos Stores to deliver a first-of-its kind effortless donation solution.
We'll send you a postage label, and you just pop it in the post, and Salvos will find a new home for it.
